Sankalyx runs an app for puja samitis, trusts and temples. Each samiti decides what it records about its members and donors; Sankalyx processes that data on the samiti's behalf, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What is collected

People who sign in: name, WhatsApp number or Google email, and a profile photo if added.
Donors (entered by the samiti): name, amount, payment mode and reference, and optionally WhatsApp number, address, PAN and photo.
Billing: the samiti's plan, invoices and the UPI reference it reports.

How it is used

To run the app: receipts, accounts, notifications, and showing each person only what their role allows.
Public pages (donor wall, TV) show only the name or "A devotee" and the amount a donor agreed to; phone numbers, addresses and PAN are never public.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Where it is stored

With the service providers that run the app: Supabase (database and files), Cloudflare (website), Meta WhatsApp Business (messages), Resend (email), Telegram (notifications) and Google (sign-in).

Your rights

Donors and members can ask their samiti, or us, to see, correct or erase their data. Issued receipts stay in the samiti's accounts but can be marked cancelled. Write to dpsbhimnagar@gmail.com.
